Lake Park Crescent Mixed-Income Apartment Redevelopment Provides Plenty of Modern Affordable and Market Rate Housing
Tandem Ventures provided compliance consulting services for Weis Builders on both phases of its Lake Park Crescent redevelopment project. The project encompasses more than two city blocks in Chicago’s North Kenwood-Oakland neighborhood, where the Weis team replaced a 1960s public housing development with 132 units in several low-rise building and a midrise building with an interior parking ramp.
The apartment community offers one, two, and three-bedroom units with dishwashers, wall-to-wall carpeting, GE appliances and microwaves. Common amenities include a fitness center, party room and covered parking. The mixed-income apartments make it convenient for any member of the community to find a unit within their price range.
Other members of the development team included The Davis Group and VOA Architects. The project was completed in February 2014.
