Leopardo, KMW, and Tandem Ventures to Develop Affordable Housing in Lincoln Square with The Community Builders

Press Release, News

Tandem Ventures was recently approved to support the development of 63 new affordable housing units in Lincoln Square alongside teams from Leopardo and KMW.

The project will be overseen by nonprofit developer The Community Builders, and its aim is to provide lower-cost housing in a popular residential area. One-third of the units will be reserved for renters whose income is up to 30% of the area’s median income (AMI). The rest of the units will be reserved for those whose income is up to 60% and 80% of the AMI. Because of the 80% cap, all 63 units will be much more affordably priced than the market rate for rent in the Lincoln Square area.

Construction will include the six-story residential building along with 36 parking spaces, half of which will be reserved for tenants and half which will be open for public use.
