New Amenity Building Coming to Prairie Shores Apartment Community

Tandem Ventures is providing governmental relations and diversity consulting services for Leopardo Construction on the new amenities building at Prairie Shores Apartments, a five-building apartment complex in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood comprised of 1,675 units. The new two-story building will house a myriad of recreation, fitness, entertainment, and co-working options for the residents of the complex, including a fitness center, wellness room, café area, a great room with lounge seating and a fireplace, a game room, and a co-working lounge.

The building will also be home to private conference rooms and the Prairie Shores leasing and management offices. On the building’s roof, residents will be able to enjoy a roof deck with grills, fire pits, outdoor media walls, and an elevated turf platform.

Tandem and Leopardo are working with Farpoint Development and Golub on the development team. The architects on the project are Gensler and Stanton Interior Concepts. The project is slated for completion in Spring 2022.
