Greater Chicago Food Depository

A new structure at 4100 W Ann Lurie Place will expand the Greater Chicago Food Depository, adding onto the existing two-story warehouse and office space. The 36,700-square-foot expansion will include a commercial kitchen for meal preparation, a demonstration kitchen for nutrition education, two new dock areas, a new lobby, and multiple storage rooms. Additionally, 11.5 acres will be allocated as parking and urban farm space to grow fresh produce.
