Independence Library and Apartments

An award-winning library and 44 affordable senior apartments along Elston Avenue in Chicago. The building provides a burst of color and sense of community in the neighborhood. Apartments each have their own balcony and amenities include a fitness room and green roof. The building received awards from the AIA, ALA, ENR, and the Dreihaus Foundation for its architecture.
